Charles Wheal & his band are fantastic & I’ve had the pleasure to see them live in San Fransisco. I am delighted that they will be playing live at our brewery as part of The Rye Jazz & Blues Festival 2026

Charles Wheal and his band play a variety of blues and roots music, winning fans since 2006, when he left Mark Hummel's band to focus on his own music.

In his live performances and recordings, seasoned professionals deliver the music with passion and focus. Charles will be joined by A Team rhythm section: Matt Radford on the big double bass and Loris Peverani on drums.

Parking on site & additional parking in our overspill car park, Houghton Green Lane (1 minute walk from the brewery) or a 23 minute walk from the Waterworks Micropub in town after the Cheese Club.
